temp.tf is a privacy-focused temporary email service. We help you receive mail without giving away your real address: you get disposable addresses (Gmail dot/plus and Outlook/Hotmail plus aliases) and read messages in your browser or via our API. No sign-up, no account, no tracking. We’re based in a jurisdiction that values data protection and user privacy, and we design the service accordingly.

2. Fair use

We want everyone to enjoy the service without abuse. Please don’t use temp.tf for:

• Anything illegal, fraud, phishing, or harassment
• Spam, malware, or bulk unsolicited messages
• Heavy automated abuse of the API (we have light rate limits so the service stays fast for everyone)

If we see clear abuse we may have to limit access so we can keep the service free and reliable for others. We’d rather not — we’re on your side.

3. API

Developers can use our API to get temp addresses and read inboxes. We apply a simple rate limit (60 requests per minute per IP) so one user doesn’t slow things down for everyone. If you get a 429, please honour the Retry-After header. We might tweak limits over time to keep the service fair and stable — we’ll keep the API docs updated.

4. How we run the service

We run temp.tf with a focus on privacy and simplicity. We don’t guarantee 100% uptime or that every third-party provider (e.g. Gmail, Outlook) will always accept our aliases — we do our best. We’re a small team and the service is provided as-is; we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss from using the service. Our goal is to keep it useful and respectful of your data.

5. Updates to these terms

We may update this page occasionally. If we make meaningful changes we’ll note it here. Continued use after an update means you’re good with the new version. We’re not here to spring surprises on you.
