1. No account required

We do not require you to create an account or provide a name, email address, or password. You use the service anonymously by receiving temporary addresses and viewing messages in your browser or via our API.

2. Information we use

To operate the service we use:

• IP address — Used only for rate limiting (e.g. 60 requests per minute per IP). Rate limit data is held in memory and is not permanently stored or used to identify you.
• Temporary email addresses you request — We need to know which address you are using so we can fetch and show you the right inbox. This is part of normal operation and is not used for profiling or advertising.
• Message content — When you open your inbox, we retrieve messages from the mail provider (e.g. Gmail, Outlook) and display them to you. We do not store the full content of your emails for longer than needed to serve your request. We may store minimal metadata (e.g. message count per address) for performance.

3. Server logs

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP, time, URL, status code) for security and debugging. We do not use these logs to track or profile users beyond what is necessary to run and secure the service.

4. No selling or advertising use

We do not sell your data. We do not use your information for advertising or to build profiles for third parties. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics for behavioural advertising.

5. Third-party services

The temporary addresses we provide are backed by third-party mail providers (e.g. Gmail, Outlook/Hotmail). When you receive or read mail, our server connects to those providers to fetch messages. Their own privacy policies apply to how they handle data. We only use these connections to deliver the service (show you your inbox and attachments).

6. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
